Technology and Process Assessment

ITSC helps decision-makers understand the likely impact of the use of a new or existing technology. Our assessment process looks at the business need, costs of the technology, return on investment, and ancillary impacts, such as internal and external environment, staff skills and training. The following provides a sample of our services:

Technology:

Assessments of emerging technologies such as rapid transmission techniques for radiology records in Telemedicine.
Evaluations of existing technologies for the development and documentation of enterprise architecture in large organizations.
Assessments of the “goodness” of architectural trade-offs for large secure networks, such as DoD’s global information grid network.

Process:

Assessments of management processes per the software engineering institute’s capability maturity model integrated (CMMI) and the system acquisition capability maturity model (SA-CMM) using SEI certified assessors.
Risk analyses of federal agencies (probability of cost, schedule and quality failure) based on the practice of best-of-breed management policies, procedures and methods.
